See the Bay City Rollers live at Butlins We Love the 70s in 2011
Remember Rollermania? The Tartan scarves? Well if you’re over 40 it’s highly unlikely you won’t have heard of the Bay City Rollers. In the mid 70s Rollermania gripped the UK in a whirlwind of music, dubious fashion and a good deal of tongue in cheek. That didn’t stop the band recording some very catchy tunes that did extraordinarily well in the charts.
It’s a testament to their legacy that the songs are still played more than frequently in 2011. Despite more than a few legal wrangles over who has the actual rights to the name ‘Bay City Rollers’ – Les McKeown is once again touring with his ‘Rollers’ rocking more than just a few ‘We Love the 70s’ adult weekends at Butlins in 2011.
Although you won’t see the exact ‘cast’ above, you will see Les McKeown and the original hits played live all over the UK at Butlins in 2011. The Bay City Rollers will be performing at a number of events and locations at Bognor, Skegness and Minehead at Butlins great We Love the 70s adult weekends.
